I participated in the Game Maker's Toolkit 2022 Game Jam! The theme this year was just the phrase, "A roll of the dice." Me and my dev partner Vicky decided to interpret this as character randomization with a twist: instead of the typical RPG stats like attack, defense, etc being randomized, it would instead be every part of the player's control! This would change the game more fundamentally with each replay, especially because attacking and regaining HP are intrinsically tied to the car's orientation and how you maneuver it.
While Vicky handled all of the programming, I tackled the models, animations, and UI elements, as well as helping her find public domain audio to use.
